The Bauer Vapor Hyperlite 2 ice hockey skate is the new top model of the Bauer brand. It is an extremely lightweight skate, which provides a flexible sole and a hard top yet for maximum power. Thanks to the Aerolite 2.0 sole and the new Powerfly Holder you can optimally implement your forces. The tongue is made of Aerolite 2.0 and has an additional felt against cutting in. The ankle padding uses Aerofoam Pro foam, a very light foam, which reduces the weight of the shoe. The Hyperflex sole is harder in the back and softer in the front to give you improved power out of the turn. The toe box is asymmetrically designed, which allows for more direct energy transfer to the skid. The outer material is made of 3D Lasted Carbon Curv Compostite, which is thermoformable, giving you the ability to customize the shoe to fit your foot perfectly. The Hyperflex outsole is a unique construction that is made of a rigid composite material on the front and a molded, flexible material on the back. The rigid composite material allows the player to maximize energy transfer during the acceleration phase of the skating stride. The softer area of the sole increases the torsional flex of the skate and increases blade contact in the speed and transition zones.
